ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking, scheduling, or using the services of KBC Auto Detailing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

SERVICES PROVIDED

KBC Auto Detailing provides professional mobile auto detailing services including:

  • Full vehicle detailing (interior and exterior)

  • Ceramic coating application and maintenance

  • Paint correction and restoration

  • Specialty treatments and add-on services

All services are performed at customer-designated locations using professional-grade equipment and products.

BOOKING AND SCHEDULING

Service Booking

  • All appointments must be booked through our online scheduling system or by phone

  • A valid deposit is required to secure all appointments

  • Service dates and times are subject to availability and weather conditions

  • Minimum 24-hour advance booking required (48 hours for ceramic coating services)

Customer Responsibilities

You must provide:

  • Legal authorization for commercial services at the service location

  • Safe, legal parking area with adequate workspace (minimum 20' x 30')

  • Level parking surface suitable for service performance

  • Access to electrical power (within 100 feet) and water source when required

  • Compliance with all HOA, apartment, or municipal regulations

  • Removal of all personal property from vehicle interior and trunk

  • Vehicle keys and access throughout service duration

Location Requirements

  • Service location must be legally accessible for commercial vehicles

  • Adequate lighting for quality service performance

  • Protection from high winds and precipitation during service

  • Compliance with local noise ordinances and business operation restrictions

  • Customer responsible for any parking fees, permits, or access charges

PRICING AND PAYMENT

Service Pricing

  • All prices are as quoted at time of booking

  • Prices include labor, materials, and standard travel within State College area

  • Additional charges may apply for excessive soil, pet hair, or specialty conditions

  • Travel fees apply for locations beyond 15-mile radius of State College

Deposit Requirements

  • Non-refundable deposit required for all services:

    • Standard Detail Services: $50 minimum or 25% of service cost

    • Ceramic Coating Services: 50% of total service cost

    • Premium Packages: 35% of total service cost

Payment Processing

  • Deposits processed through secure Stripe payment system

  • Final payment due upon service completion

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit cards, cash, check

  • Electronic payment processing fee: $2.50 for transactions under $200

  • Late payment penalty: 1.5% per month (18% annually) after 24-hour grace period

Failed Payments

  • Declined cards will require immediate alternative payment method

  • Collection process initiated 48 hours after payment failure

  • Customer responsible for all collection costs and legal fees

PENNSYLVANIA CONSUMER PROTECTION NOTICE

MANDATORY 3-DAY CANCELLATION RIGHT

YOU, THE BUYER, MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT OF THE THIRD BUSINESS DAY AFTER THE DATE OF THIS TRANSACTION.

This cancellation right applies to all service contracts of $25 or more conducted at customer locations in Pennsylvania.

To cancel this transaction, you must:

  1. Sign and date the attached "Notice of Cancellation" form

  2. Mail or deliver the form to our business address

  3. Notify us within the 3-business-day period

Upon proper cancellation:

  • We will refund all payments except processing fees

  • Refunds processed within 10 business days

  • No services will be performed after cancellation notice

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

After 3-Day Pennsylvania Cancellation Period:

More than 48 hours before service:

  • Full refund minus $25 administrative fee

  • Rescheduling available without penalty

24-48 hours before service:

  • 25% cancellation fee of total service cost

  • Deposit forfeited, balance refunded

  • Rescheduling available for $15 fee

Less than 24 hours before service:

  • 50% cancellation fee of total service cost

  • Rescheduling available for 25% fee

Day of service cancellation:

  • 75% cancellation fee of total service cost

  • Rescheduling available for 25% fee

No-show or same-day cancellation:

  • 100% service charge applies

  • New deposit required for future bookings

Weather-Related Cancellations

  • No penalty for weather-related rescheduling

  • Company reserves right to reschedule for:

    • Precipitation or forecast of rain/snow

    • Temperatures below 35°F or above 95°F

    • High winds exceeding 20 mph

    • Conditions compromising service quality or safety

SERVICE PERFORMANCE AND WARRANTIES

Quality Standards

  • All services performed to professional industry standards

  • Work completed by trained and certified technicians

  • Professional-grade products and equipment used exclusively

  • International Detailing Association (IDA) best practices followed

Service Warranty

  • Workmanship Guarantee: 7 days for standard detail services

  • Ceramic Coating Warranty: Per manufacturer specifications (2-10 years)

  • Paint Correction: 30-day workmanship guarantee

  • Product Warranties: As provided by product manufacturers

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Damage from improper vehicle maintenance

  • Environmental contamination (tree sap, bird droppings, industrial fallout)

  • Normal wear and tear from vehicle operation

  • Damage from automatic car washes or improper cleaning methods

  • Pre-existing paint defects or clear coat failure

  • Customer-caused damage or neglect

Warranty Claims

  • Claims must be reported within warranty period

  • Photo documentation required for claim processing

  • Inspection required before warranty service authorization

  • Warranty service limited to re-performance of original work

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

Property Damage Limitations

  • Company liability limited to actual service cost or $5,000 maximum, whichever is less

  • Company not liable for pre-existing vehicle damage or defects

  • Customer responsible for documenting and reporting any damage within 24 hours

  • Company maintains comprehensive general liability insurance

Personal Property Exclusions

  • Company assumes no responsibility for personal property left in vehicle

  • Customer must remove all valuables, electronics, and personal items

  • Lost or damaged personal property is customer's responsibility

  • Vehicle contents subject to customer's insurance coverage

Circumstances Beyond Control

Company not liable for delays or cancellations due to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Customer location access issues

  • Vehicle mechanical problems preventing service

  • Emergency situations or safety concerns

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or unforeseeable circumstances

Vehicle Operation Authorization

  • Customer authorizes necessary vehicle operation for service completion

  • This includes starting, moving, repositioning, and test driving when required

  • Company technicians licensed and insured for vehicle operation

  • Customer vehicle insurance remains primary coverage

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

Pre-Service Requirements

  • Vehicle must be accessible and safe for service

  • Fuel level sufficient for any required vehicle operation

  • Working battery and electrical system

  • Disclosure of any mechanical issues affecting service

  • Removal of aftermarket accessories that may interfere with service

During Service

  • Remain available for questions or access needs

  • Provide workspace free from interruptions

  • Ensure pets are secured away from work area

  • Maintain safe environment for technicians

Post-Service

  • Inspect work promptly and report any concerns within 24 hours

  • Follow care instructions for treated surfaces

  • Maintain vehicle according to warranty requirements

  • Provide access for warranty service if needed

ENVIRONMENTAL AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE

Environmental Responsibility

  • All wastewater properly contained and disposed per EPA regulations

  • Eco-friendly products used when requested and available

  • No discharge to storm drains or groundwater

  • Compliance with all environmental protection standards

Safety Standards

  • All technicians trained in OSHA safety protocols

  • Proper ventilation maintained for chemical applications

  • Safety equipment used for all appropriate procedures

  • Customer safety prioritized throughout service

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Informal Resolution

  • Initial disputes addressed directly with management

  • 48-hour response time for customer concerns

  • Good faith effort to resolve issues promptly and fairly

Formal Disputes

  • Disputes resolved through binding arbitration in Centre County, Pennsylvania

  • Pennsylvania law governs all aspects of this agreement

  • Customer retains right to pursue claims in small claims court

  • Mediation available before arbitration proceedings

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Company Property

  • All service methods, techniques, and processes are proprietary

  • Customer photos and testimonials may be used for marketing with consent

  • Company trademarks and branding protected by applicable laws

Customer Property

  • Customer retains ownership of vehicle and personal property

  • Temporary possession for service performance only

  • No liens or claims created against customer property

MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION

Service Modifications

  • Company reserves right to modify services and pricing with notice

  • Significant changes require customer acceptance for future bookings

  • Existing confirmed bookings honored at original terms

Agreement Updates

  • Terms may be updated to reflect legal or operational changes

  • Notice provided through website, email, or booking system

  • Continued service use constitutes acceptance of modified terms

Service Termination

  • Either party may terminate service relationship with notice

  • Company reserves right to refuse service for safety or legal reasons

  • Outstanding payments due regardless of relationship termination

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

Ceramic Coating Services

  • Multi-day application process may be necessary

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between customer and company. No verbal agreements or representations supersede these written terms.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

F.A.Q.

How do I book a service?

The easiest way to book is through our online booking system on our website. Another great way is to call or text (866) 270-4565 — we’re available 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM to schedule you.

You can also fill out the “Get Free Quote” form at the top of our website, and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

Our scheduling availability is Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but you must book online or call ahead of your desired time to schedule. Often times we’re out on jobs and may not be on the phone when you call. texting us after trying to call or booking online is often best.

Can you detail my car at my home, office or appartment?

Yes we can! All we need is access to electricity and water. We carry 100 foot hoses extension cords for water and electricity so its easy for us to access power and water at your location.

How long does the detail usually take?

Each detail takes a different amount of time depending on the package your purchase. On average it takes 2-8 hours for an Exterior Detail job. It takes 2-5 hours for an Interior Detail job, and it takes 3-5 hours for a Full Detail job depending on package. Call or text us at (866) 270-4565 for a better idea of time.

How long will the detail last?

At KBC Detailing we in how long we are able to keep your car clean even after we are done detailing. We generously apply various paint, window, and plastic sealants and protectants all over your car to keep it shinning and protected for longer. We like to give our customers a lot of value for their money and making the detail job last longer is our priority.

What if I don't have access to water or electricity?

We offer in-house services at our State College location. Contact us at (866) 270-4565 to find out when we could fit you in. If you don’t want to wait there are many options for dropping off your car, you can either have a friend drop your car off with you or simply call an Uber. Our location does not provide shuttle ride options so you must arrange your own.
